We Are Here to Help
Is there something that is creating a sense of unwell or upset in your life? Perhaps there is pain in your past that seems to be nesting in your present. Or maybe there are things that you just wish could be different or you are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Sometimes we can feel so out of control of the things that are happening to us as life brings us seasons of change.
The driving force behind what we do is the idea that with effort and willingness, we can achieve a heightened level of functioning and fulfillment in our life and improved satisfaction in our relationships. The power of therapy lies in the peace that you don’t have to do it alone.
We offer a holistic therapeutic approach to our clients who range in age from children to adolescents to adults.
What is EMDR?
About Therapy
A Mental Health Professional Here to Guide You
Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Grief -
these are just parts of life, right?
“Do I really need to go to therapy?” This is a question many people ask themselves at some point in their life. Perhaps they are uncomfortable with the status quo, or maybe someone who cares about them is suggesting it. Therapy means something different to everyone. For some people, therapy is a place to work on specific areas in their life they wish to find growth. For others, it feels more like a need to help get them back on track from something that has unhinged their lives. No matter what the reason is for asking yourself “do I really need therapy,” there is perhaps a more useful question to ask: “Are there areas of my life that, if looked at, could lead me to increased serenity and fulfillment?”
Through the use of various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, we help clients find ways to develop life-changing habits to help them cope with life’s many obstacles. Our therapy sessions are designed to assist clients with increased insight into themselves and provide tools that promote and enhance empowerment and wellness.
But wait ... I have friends I can talk to. What's the difference?
Friendships are beautiful mutually supportive ways to create connections and meaning. The client-therapist relationship differs from any other. Our goal for our clients is to have a space where they can come, bring their entire selves, and share in a way that is completely unfiltered and without fear of judgment or worrying about others' feelings.
We help children, adolescents, and adults navigate a myriad of issues including traumas, stressors, life transitions, behavioral issues, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. We offer an eclectic treatment approach tailored to each client's individual needs.
Treatment approaches include EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), ART (accelerated resolution therapy), behavioral play therapy, CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), mindfulness based therapy, and expressive therapies.
